Battery Not Charging

When a DeWalt cordless drill battery won't charge, the most common causes are dirty contacts, a battery that's too hot or cold, or a battery that has entered sleep mode from sitting too long. Cleaning the contacts and doing a wake-up cycle fixes this about 70% of the time.
